Before he went on stage for his main performance at the Pinkpop festival in The Netherlands on Monday, James performed an acoustic set for 3 On stage. He played 3 tracks, including the new single for The Netherlands, Beautiful Life. Watch the fantastic session here.

James already has 2 tour dates in Austria this summer, and now a third one has been added. On June 22nd, he will play at the Donauinselfest. This is an annual open-air music festival taking place on the Donau Island in Vienna. Entrance is free!

Fans in Singapore, guess what! James is coming back to Singapore for a full concert! He will play at the Esplanade Concert Hall on October 2nd, and tickets are going on sale on June 25th through Sistic. Don’t miss out!

Fans in The Netherlands, are you ready for James’ next single? Following chart topper ‘Slave To The Music’, the duet ‘Up’, hopeful ‘I Won’t Let You Go’ and the beautiful ‘Right By Your Side’, ‘Beautiful Life’ is the new single from James’ latest album ‘The Awakening’. ‘Beautiful Life’ is a great summer song, look out for the single on the radio, and download the single from iTunes!

There’s no official music video for the single, but do check out this great live version, which was recorded at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam in March this year.

Two more dates have been added to James’ summer tour. On July 7th, James is playing at the North Sea Jazz Festival in The Netherlands. North Sea Jazz Festival is an annual jazz festival held in the second week of July at Ahoy in Rotterdam. James is scheduled to play on one of the three main stages, the Nile, from 8.30 PM (CET).

James has also been added to the line up for Festival Jardins de Cap Roig on the Costa Brava in Spain. This festival will be held from July 15th till August 21st, and James will play on August 5th.

New video! Watch James’ performance of ‘Nothing Ever Hurt Like You’ from his second album ‘Songs For You, Truths For Me’. This was one of the tracks James performed at his surprise gig in Amsterdam last June.

James has just ended his European tour in Portugal 2 weeks ago, and his Portuguese fans already have something else to look forward to. James has been added to the line up for Festival Sudoeste (also known as SWtmn), a large, four-day music festival held near Zambujeira do Mar, in southern Portugal. This year’s festival will take place from August 1st till 5th, and James will be playing on the 3rd.

A new tour date has been added to James’ summer schedule! After several shows in mainland Italy, he’ll play a concert at Castello a Mare in Palermo, on the island of Sicily, on August 7th. Tickets are already on sale.

After a five-year absence from Australian shores, James will return to Sydney to play an intimate acoustic performance for his fans on April 18th at The Basement. The performance will feature songs from the new album ‘The Awakening’, as well as a few hits from his previous albums.

James’ new single for the UK, ‘One Life’ is out now! The track, a charming and heartfelt meditation on his life, is the third to be taken from his platinum selling album ‘The Awakening’. A radio edit of the track is part of an EP, with the following tracklisting:

1. One Life (Radio Edit)
2. One Life (Live from Metropolis Studios 2011)
3. Love Is A Losing Game (Live from On Track)

The EP is available from iTunes and Amazon.

James is rounding up the European leg of his Awakening tour. The past few weeks we’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response of his concerts in several countries. A lot of beautiful pictures and videos have been uploaded on to the web. Gasometer in Vienna was packed with James Morrison fans last night. The crowd sure seemed to enjoy themselves and even in the review it was called a ‘perfect night out’. On Friday March 16th James performed at the sold-out Heineken Music Hall. This venue is one of the biggest venue where James has performed during the European leg of the Awakening tour. The response on Twitter about the gig is very positive. James performed at his very best whilst being watched by 5500 fans, including his girlfriend and daughter.

James Morrison will be headlining at this years Cornbury Music Festival on July 29th. The Cornbury Festival is an eclectic and eccentric musical carnival – a dynamic summer festival disguised as a country fayre – a lovingly crafted, top notch, very English open air party.

I guess this is what a lot of fans have been waiting for: finally the James Morrison festival summers are back! James will also be performing at the Dutch PinkPop festival, the Stars of Sounds in Switzerland, Midtsommerjazz and Norwegian Wood in Norway,  Rock Werchter in Belgium, T in the Park and V Festival in the United Kingdom and last of the so far announced festivals: Belsonic in Ireland. Check out the calendar to see when and where James will be performing this year.
